We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Project Manager to develop local energy projects in the Solent LEP area.

The Project Manager will lead the identification, co-ordination and development of energy projects in the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership area, acting as the first point of contact for local stakeholders to engage with the South West Energy Hub, which is funded by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Our current pipeline has more than 95 projects with a combined value exceeding £230m.

Crucially, successful candidates will use their experience of project appraisal and development in the energy sector, to offer support throughout the process including feasibility, building the business case, initial design & planning to securing investment.  Post holders will work with a wider team of project and technical manager to define an offer of support for projects.

This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact in the transition to a clean energy future.

If you're interested please get in touch with Jon Rattenbury (SW Energy Hub Programme Manager) for an informal conversation about the role on 0117 4566966 or Jon.Rattenbury@westofengland-ca.gov.uk.

This role is offered on a fixed-term basis to 31 March 2021, with the potential for extension if additional funding is secured.  Secondments from other organisations will be considered.

Location is flexible within the Solent LEP area.
