The West of England Combined Authority is evolving – and our digital offer needs to match our ambition.
We have recently moved to a new ICT provider, which has provided all of our people with the technology they need to work in a more agile way. But we need to embed new ways of working and collaborating, to make the most out of this technology. Alongside this, we need to redevelop our websites to better meet the needs of local businesses, residents, and key stakeholders, and we need to set up a data platform to make sure that we are at the heart of regional intelligence.
This is where you come in. We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, experienced programme manager, who can lead these significant projects and deliver the right solutions for WECA. You don’t need to be an ICT specialist – it’s your programme management skills that will really set you apart in this role - though some experience of having led on digital projects in the past will certainly be useful. You will have a keen understanding of the project life cycle, with the tenacity to manage both internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to time, cost and quality. You will be a confident communicator, with the ability to manage a range of different views to solve problems and ensure a positive shared outcome.
