We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Project Manager to develop local energy projects in the West of England and Gloucestershire.
The Project Manager will lead the identification, co-ordination and development of energy projects in the West of England and Gloucestershire, acting as the first point of contact for local stakeholders to engage with the South West Energy Hub, which is funded by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Our current pipeline has more than 80 projects with a combined value exceeding £230m.
Crucially, successful candidates will use their experience of project appraisal and development in the energy sector, to offer support throughout the process including feasibility, building the business case, initial design & planning to securing investment. Post holders will work with a wider team of project, technical and funding managers to define an offer of support for projects.

This role is offered on a fixed-term basis to 31 March 2021, with the potential for extension if additional funding is secured. Secondments from other organisations will be considered. Flexible/part-time working arrangements will be also be considered.
Location is flexible within the West of England and Gloucestershire.
Working Pattern: Full Time/Flexible Hours/Job-Share/Part Time
37 hours per week.
